Sacry Big

Well, this is going to be big, and odd....

I have meet and married a wonderful lady named Laura, that all kind of happened in December, sorry if I didn't tell anyone, we kind of eloped.  Anyway, Laura fights with a lot of issues from her past that have given her depression and a number of other hardships that we struggle with day to day.  We have been in the hospital several times, and the military sent me home from the desert to take care of her, on the plus side, I know that God has been with us through all of this, and things have been getting better, for the most part...  It is still a struggle, but I love her soooooooooo much, and I would do anything to help her.  Not saying that any of this has been easy, but the best things in life are more then worth fighting for, they are worth giving everything for.

Right now our current struggle is caused by bad choices on both sides, and we can use your prayers more then I think that I would every tell you, please pray for us.

On to other things!!!

I am in the Air Force and have been working with the museum we have here on base, restoring parts of the past so that the future can learn of it and of the mistakes that have been made.  And here in Feb or so we are being sent over seas to England!!!!!  We are going to be living there for a few years and I am telling you, we are going to see as much as we can!!!  Castles!!! I cant wait!!!!!!  South Dakota has been fun, I guess, but it will be good to get out of here!!!!!!

I am not sure what else to write about, but feel free to ask questions!!!

Welcome to the "Jed Zone."  Tonight's episode is a wonderful recap of the last few weeks of the life of Jed.

Well, after I went and did my initial certification (finally) so that I can work my real job, instead of taking out the trash and washing stuff, they sent us right out to work on the flightline (where the planes are in case you don't know...Tony) and we worked more then any other one crew out there, which is really cool and I liked alot.  They liked how well we worked so much that they let us out early from work, which I like even more.  This week I get to learn how to be a military cop for a few days, and then next monday (or is it just monday? I can never figure that out) I will be starting swing shift (2pm to 11pm) which means I can sleep in and none of the big bosses will be at work while I am there, all very good things. Last monday I went with a group of guys from my shop and we helped out at habitat for humanity for the day hanging drywall, which was a good time, and a nice change of pace.

The weather is finally starting to turn cold here....maybe (it was 83 yesterday) but they said it will cool off and today it was 40ish, and there is still some snow from a few days ago on the ground, and more on the way.

Church is going well and hopefully here in a bit I will be able to go to meet the session and transfer membership out to here from back in PA.

I have decided that I am courting the most wonderful person ever (sorry guys, but I got to her first) the only problem is she is much much too far away, and while absence makes the heart grow fonder, and it is a good thing to wait and go slowly and blah blah blah, I think that being away for two (or four with a little visit in the middle) sucks...We are hoping ( and praying) that her parents will let her come up and stay with my pastor out here for a few days over christmas so that we can see each other, but no word from anyone as to yes or no yet, and the bets are all against.

Irrigation of the land with seawater desalinated by fusion power is ancient. It's called 'rain'.

Church was very good today, it was a very helpful message, and it is nice to get back into the routine of going to church, right now i am having to bum rides to get there so that is not so great, but we will see what happens with that.

I watched Silent Hill last night, and I thought it was such a good movie that I went and found out as much as I could about it, and the town that the location (not the story, just the location) was based off of is a little town in Pennsylvania that has had a coal fire burning underground for near 30 years, and has the potential to burn for almost 1000 more.  It is very interesting and i found a number of videos and pics of the town, and the sinkholes caused by collapsing mineshafts and the smoke coming out of the ground.  In one of the cemeteries in this town the ground is so hot that a match can be lit just by holding it on the stone for a short time.  Here is a video about it that I thought was very well done.

If you want to know more I would very much so recommend this article in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centralia%2C_PA
